Things are looking up

Hiya!

What a great start to the day rang the garage about the car it isnt going to be as much as we thought, we rang them yesterday and they thought the engine had gone so we thought we would have to buy a new car (phew), they have even said they have a courtesy car for us so we dont need to hire anymore (I dont beleive our luck today.  think we should buy our lottery tickets today we seem to be on a roll with our luck lol.

The sun is trying to get out and I'm still sat in my dressingown I think I should go and get dressed and get something done before going of  work, ah work we have been very busy the last couple of days no time to chat inbetween calls how dare they ring us when we are trying to catch up on some gossip lol. thats enough about work get enough of it while I'm there without talking about it on here!

 

More ducks have had babies one mummy has 10 ducklings hope she keeps them all she looks like she has her work cut out for her, they are so sweet and so tiny!  it's a good job we have bought plenty of bread for them. Hubby cut the grass for the first time this year as it has been too wet to cut before now so it looks nice neat and tidy...I think I had better stop waffling now and get something done. Will have to take my babies (dogs) for a walk first then have a coffee and a quick tidy round before going to work so will speak soon......

Back to work

Hi, not a good day today back to work I'm affraid It's not the work I dont like it's the traveling (an hour and half ) start at 2:00pm so will have to go soon back home at 11:30 as don't finish while 10:00 it is good that we (hubby & I) both work at the same place and the same times.

Anyway went to see my beautiful grandaughter last night as we picked up the hire car, she is a little angel and growing quick but she was a little grumpy last night so didn't get any photo's I didn't want to upset her with the flash so thought I would leave it for another day.

Fed the ducks and ducklings again this morning and I saw the lambs in the field when I took the dogs for a walk, it is the best time of year when all the babies are about.

  

Have to go now time to set off for work

A Beautiful Day

                           GOOD MORNING

 

Happy and pig in muck springs to mind!

Hiya What a beautiful day took dogs for a walk and went in short sleeves and didn't feel cold the sun is shining like a summers day and I feel happy. John has just gone for an interview for a new job (hope he gets it) if he does get it that means we don't have to travel far to work anymore but I will have to find something as well.

Getting the hire car today so I will be able to go see my grand daughter tonight can't wait I will get lots more photo's and post them on here for you to see (if your interestedthat is).

                                            

Wish I lived nearer to them miss them a lot but it makes visiting much more special I bet she's grown a lot since I last saw her. She is 4 weeks old today I last saw her when she was just a week old.

Just had a call from John his interview went well and he will find out in the next couple ofdays so fingers crossed.

Well will have to go now have a good day.

P.S Still not started diet!!!!

A very good morning

Hiya, what a lovely day it has been so far woke up at 3:30 and couldn't get back off to sleep so John (hubby) made a cuppa and we got up at about 4:30 took the dogs for a walk round the lake and it was very still no wind or anything the swans were on the lake and the cormerants were flying about, it looked like it was going to be a bad day weather wise all dull and grey like a December morning, as we were walking back down home we saw the first ducklings of the year mum and her 3 ducklings were waddling about they were so tiny, I think they may just have been born. What a beautiful sight.

Got back home and we fell asleep on the sofa for about 1/2 hour, went to make a cup of tea and threw some bread out of the kitchen window and 3 male ducks came flying over, then to my absolute joy the mum and her babies came for some bread, watching them just nibbling at the bread made my day. So like I said what a lovely day so far and to make it even better the sun is trying to get out.

Better Day

Hi Just a short entry to let you know what is going on, Taking car in to garage on Tuesday and hiring a car from Monday night so going to see my Dad and Grand daughter. Still didn't start diet today but cut down so might be able to start soon!!! lol Back at work on Tuesday might be able to start then as I dont have time to eat or think about food. Anyway bit boring today just a lot of cleaning so will leave you now..

Bad Day

Hi, Not in a good mood today, Car is going to cost us £400.+ and then the cost of hiring a car cos the garage hasn't a courtesy car available and ours is in for 3 days as the head gaskets gone?? why it takes 3 days I dont know but I dont understand these things anyway, and I bet they find something else wrong with it which will cost even more money!

So that is it no diet again today just another excuse I know when everything settles down again I will start cos my weight is now making me depressed. I haven't had anything to eat yet so I might just have some fruit and try and be good today, but how long that will last I aint got a clue. I spoke to a friend yesterday and she is thinking of starting weight watchers perhaps we could help each other over the net, I would go with her but we live too far apart.

I think I need to take the dogs out fo a walk and blow away some cobwebs that might make me feel better, so I will have a shower after this cup of tea I have just made and get my walking boots on!

The weather isn't too bad today was cold first thing this morning but it seems to have warmed up a little will find out when I go for a walk, I will tidy up outside as well just a quick brush and general tidy around ready for some new plants....

Anyway must go dogs waiting to go out for a walk and I need to get in the shower first so might be back later if not another day.

lazy Day

Hiya,

Just got back from taking dogs for a walk, nice day but very windy. Not doing much today it's very quiet, the car has packed in it's very poorly, I wanted to go see my grandaughter today but no car and it's too far to get on a bus, we are not on a bus route we live in the country in North Yorkshire it's very beautiful but you need a car and mine has let me down got to get it to the garage and hope they will sort it out for me. John is not very good with cars i'm affraid so it will cost us.

Still not started diet but had a low fat cornetto if thats any help, it was very nice to say it is low fat they are called skinny cow they do different flavour lollies as well only had soup for dinner and having chilli and rice for tea so not too bad.

Hope everyone had a good easter we had a quiet chillin' weekend and no chocolate eggs so thats good as well.

Not really much to tell as nothing too exciting has happened as we have stopped in with having no car.... So will go now and be back when I have more to tell!

2nd Time Lucky

This is the second attempt I have had a posting this journal, was in a good mood but now very frustrated!!! When I saved the first attempt it put boxes all round my text ??? so here goes lets see what this will turn out like.

It is very sunny today a bit windy and a chill in the air but at least the sun is out. got up early this morning took the dogs for a walk then went to the supermarket hubby made breakfast I made a coffee, yet again still not started diet I need to get my head sorted and organise myself better no will power at the moment, need a kick yo the backside me thinks! But got some lower fat lollies from supermarket if that counts lol....

Dogs asleep hubby playing battleships with his daughter over the net what a racket, its a good job we both have a pc. He is sat there laughing and talking to himself (what next). Better go and do something useful like making a cuppa.....

Another day

 

Another day not much happened not even started diet (not doing very well am I). Johns mum ok hopefully she will be home today just waiting for the tests to come back. just chillin now with a cup of coffee then its time to get ready for work , its another sunny day for a change we are doing well!

Like I said nothing much happened had a busy night at work phones never stopped ringing but at least it made the night go quicker. Time to take dogs for walk I think take in some of the sunshine no doubt it will still be chilly..

Have to go will be back tomorrow with updates..

Not a good day

Well it's not started out as a good day today, firstly phone went at 7:30am hubbys mum was taken to hospital (she's ok having tests) with chest pains. Hubby (John) is doing my head in he is building a web site at the moment and everythng stops for him he is very grumpy at the moment, I have wrote all this out once before and he asked me to go to his website and I forgot to save what I had written and didn't open another window so I lost everything grrr.

The weather is fine a bit overcast but I dont mind as I have to go to work today start at 2:00 and finish at 10:00 but wont get home till 11:30 as it takes an hour and half there and back, will need to find something closer to home. Grandaughter is doing fine will need to get some more photo's to post on here for everyone to see. Oh as you might have guessed I havn't started my diet yet will need to get organised as I started this journal to help me along but it hasnt worked yet will start soon.

Will have to go now I need to set off for work.

Beautiful Day

                                                

 

What a beautiful morning a bit different to last night when coming home from work it was snowing really heavily I was told that the moterway was closed as it was that bad, you wouldn't think it was near the middle of April....

Anyway woke up this morning feeling happy must be because I've no work to go to today, the sun is shining a bit cold though but it makes you feel so much better when the sun is shining.

Sorry everyone but didn't start my diet today just had toast and butter for my breakfast (not good) I will not eat as much though try and break myself into it slowly ( hee hee)

I am going to take my dogs for a walk and then ring my son to see how my beautiful grandaughter is getting on. so will see you all later.

Oh dear

I know I said I was going to start diet today but I thought I would Wait until Monday get my head on so to speak, My hubby is making dinner today Roast with all the trimmings so thought I would wait a couple more days. I will start on Monday (promise)...

I should also mention that I was a first time Grandma on the 27th March my son and his wife gave birth to a beautiful gorgeous little girl and she came on Daddy's birthday hows that for timing. She is his first child but has a step son and step daughter too. I hope you enjoy the photo's.

Will keep you up to date with progress of diet and grandaughter.

 

First Day

I am very depressed at the moment with my weight I have tried on several occasions to lose my weight I have about 5 stone to lose.I thought this might help writing everything I do, eat & thoughts.At the moment after writing this I am going to take my dogs for a walk, then its off to work, wont be back in until about 11:30pm then take the dogs for another walk.Its what goes on in between these things that worry me like eating and drinking the wrong things, so I thought I would start my diet tomorrow this way I can plan what I will eat and take to work for my lunch and snacks and things...

Anyway must dash got things to do will let you know how I get on!
